Presentation
An in depth tour of how .NET makes multi-threaded programming easier.  From the old thread starts to threadpools and to Tasks and the new VS async CTP.    We will examine a few problem domains, discuss how each one has different thread synchronization needs and how to optimize for the multi-core world.

Speaker: Chris McLean
Principal CRM Consultant for neXrm Solutions LLC.  Chris is a Microsoft Certified Trainer, certified in Silverlight 4, C# and SharePoint.  He has over 10 years of programming experience spanning real time SCADA systems, 401(k) & Trust processing, and  Natural Gas accounting systems as well as SharePoint, Silverlight, K2 and Microsoft CRM.

Tulsa Developers Association (AKA Tulsa .NET User Group) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and thus is required to have a minimum of three seperate members fulfilling the role of President, Vice-President and Secretary. There are also ancillary roles that are for specialized areas: Director of Technology, Director of Special Projects, Director of Membership Services.
